Hand Soap

So lets get this clear. I have two boys. Small boys. Boys are dirty, babies are stinky and basically we wash our hands a lot around here! So we go through a lot of hand soap. I get so frustrated when the bottle appears to have quite a few more pumps left in it, yet, its such a pain to get the soap out I end up throwing it away. Well, a few months ago I used my Bath & Body Works gift card. I usually don't go there much as I am not a big lotion person. However, I do like their soap, but it kind of seemed spendy and they are all the way out at the mall... Well I work near the mall and decided to stop in and use my gift card. At the time they had a sale. 7 for $20! This $2.87 a bottle, very comparable to your local grocery, Target or Walmart. Well its actually been about 7 months since then, I still have 1 bottle in the cupboard and one in my kitchen, master bath and guest bath. Now I tried several types of soap; the one with the Anti-bacterial Micro-beads, Regular moisturizing hand Soap, and Foaming Hand Soap. I am amazed at the savings with the Foaming hand soap. See photos below. Even when it appears nothing is left in the bottle..... I managed to get some out! What a savings and quite handy when you buy in bulk at Bath & Body Works!

Best Items to Keep Sane

So I have started a blog about how to survive the world of the working mom. I have heard comments over the years to my about "I don't know how you do it". Referring to me working full time and commuting at least 45 minutes a day. Well it can be done. Fortunately I have an amazing husband and great parents who help us out, but there are some great things also that I have found that keep us sane. Also, I have a tight budget and I discover some great ways to budget and save money! Hopefully, all my words of wisdom will make it to the virtual world and I can continue to keep up with this blog more than I have in the past!
